Brownfields 2008




I attended a conference in Detroit last week and thought I would share some pictures with you all. Detroit's center is mostly abandoned and degraded as everyone has persued tidy homes in the suburbs. We know Detroit as the motor city and home to General Motors and Ford factories and headquarters. While in Detroit I was able to visit General Motors Headquarters, the Ford Factory Museum, watch a Tigers vs Red Sox game, and take a ferry ride along the border of Canada. Enjoy the images, some of them cool, and some of them scary.

p.s. Good luck getting Beth to add the shed to your home decor. It might look good in the nursery, maybe turn it into a mobile or something. :-)
